I would like another, I have 2ds and am 33, I get the impression from some that this is too old, what do you think?

That'll be your birth year then!

It's so expensive though, we never thought about money with the first 2, but we are worried about it for a third, bigger car, more presents, expensive holidays etc.

rachey is right - it was in the lap of the gods to be honest that dd came along when she did

My boss has just had her first at 33. I mean admittedly she's ancient but still capable of reproducing

Seriously, it doesn't matter how old you are in terms of other people's opinions- sombebody will always find something negative to say. It says more about them than it does about you. I'm too young to be having my first according to some.

The only real question is do you want another, can you give it everything you feel a baby needs and fgs you need to have something to keep you occupied now you're middle aged.

zenia · 25/11/2005 13:17

Your right, I am bored and need something to occupy my time!

Most women your age take up crocheting though....

Watch it!

Am 39 next week and 32 wks pg. I'm finding the whole pg thing much more challenging this time round (17 yr age gap between DD & this one) but am still considering another one. Huge plus is that we'll have built in babysitter

PS HUNKERMUNKER - how's it going? your thread is vv quiet!

jabberwocky · 25/11/2005 13:43

Ha! 33 too old I had ds at 38 and if dh will get on board with the idea I hope to get pregnant again soon. I will be 41 in March. I guess that's what happens when you don't meet the right person until you are 35

allyco · 25/11/2005 19:36

Am 41 and on to my 5th. When I go to ante-natal I feel like everyone's granny..

eidsvold · 26/11/2005 06:32

I was 33 having my first - 36 when second born - would consider another at 39 ish perhaps. Worked with a colleague - 38 first, 40 second.

My aunt has just learned she is pregnant and she is 48.....

HRHWickedwaterwitch · 26/11/2005 08:07

Gawd no. I had my first at 30, second at 37.
