Sitting here swaying with nausea trying to work out if there's anything I can eat for breakfast

I know if I eat a little of something that doesn't make me vomit I will feel a little better.

But the thought of everything is making me dry heave.

Maybe even throwing up would help.

God. This bit is hard. My whole house smells of things that make me gag.

I currently having a cold sausage roll for breakfast.Blush Eating it in the spare room as the kitchen smells too funky.

Oooh I could go for a sausage roll. Shame I've been vegetarian for 25 years.

for me it is lucozade and salted popcorn (used to be my hangover nausea cure but is now working quite well with the MS. Not thrown up yet but as I'm only 4+3 I'm not going to get too happy about that!!)

All I can seem to manage in the mornings are ready salted crisps! Not very healthy but all I can face. Have bought the lower fat baked crisps which aren't quite so bad, then making sure I get plenty of fruit and veg through the day to counteract the unhealthy start! x

second the floppy cold toast and ready salted crisps. I also find oranges helpful.

Love this thread
I'm 8wks and feel sick all day.
My routine is have a big glass of water as soon as I wake then throw it up. This doesn't hurt, taste of anything and gets rid of the sickness long enough for me to eat coco pops and cold milk for breakfast.

I spend the rest of the day grazing and wretching
I find sweets to suck, orange ice lollies, chocolate milk and bread are my friends.

I hate this stage of pg. Those of you on dc3 with hg are v brave

The issue for me is not actually throwing up is just feeling constantly nauseous and put off all food, but I am also really hungry... ginger tea seems to help a bit but it's like drinking lemsip and makes me feel as if I am medicating myself for an illness!

I used to keep a pack of cake by the bed, eat one and then wait 20 minutes before getting out of bed when I would then feel well enough to have some cereals. It had to be moist cake though, not dry biscuits, otherwise I would choke. So I went with Madeleines, which are made with lots of butter (and who cares at this stage) so moist and tasty but not too rich either. The carbs helped a lot.

nokissymum · 16/07/2011 14:06

You may not like tjis but when i was preggers i went mad on "grapefruit" couldnt get enough of it and seriously helped the nausea, try the red one as its the sweetest but got enough punch to keep the nausea at bay.

Good luck!

God this doesn't get any better.

I am now throwing up between 5 and 10 times a day. I can't keep anything down until early evening.

Can't do anything that has fat, oil or butter. Can't do anything fresh - no fruit, veg, salad. Can't do any dairy. Can no longer keep weak juice down.

I am managing to sip water through the day and occasionally I eat a dry cracker or a plain weetabix which I then throw up, but I feel a bit better afterwards.

By about 7 I can cope with a bowl of overboiled cheap chinese noodles with about 1/4 of the flavour sachet.

So unhealthy.
