OK, period due in 2 days. Was sure I could feel her coming on. Did a test just now. Clearblue Digital with Conception Indicator. It says PREGNANT 1-2 weeks!!!!

2 Questions:

  1. How likely is it the test is wrong?
  1. How much worth is this test telling me 2 days before period is due, I'm pregnant? I mean in relation to chemical pregnancies...

Sorry, if this is all a little confused, I'm in shock. I did not expect the test to say 'pregnant'. I'm oever the moon, getting married in 3 days, just worried how real it all is...

Congratulations!

I just found out last week and I still feel a bit like i'm due on (approx 5 weeks gone). I understand this is normal but with nothing to compare to I'm really only going on what I feel like now.

I wouldn't be able to wait... My OH was with me when we did the test (all 5 of them, all different brands) and after he drove me to work he cried like a little baby for about an hour. Unless you DH is made of stone I reckon wedding night is a great time to tell! You dont want to ruin all your photos.

Congratulations, I was exactly the same and couldn't believe it either. I ended up doing about 10 tests over two weeks in the end (cost me a fortune!).

What a lovely wedding present!

AW Yayhow amazing..

Not going to be wrong love Grin

You might have difficulty hiding it,no drinking all day on your wedding day/night.

Have you been trying long? it might make ur day even more special if you and your new husband have a special secret lol

Thanks for all your replies. You're such a lovely bunch.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but I did end up telling almost DH. I was so convinced I wouldn't but we were out for dinner and I was a little grumpy and he asked what was up. If I had done a test and it was negative. I couldn't lie to him. He went into some sort of shock Grin and now that we're at home he's walking around and keeps muttering about re-arranging furniture so there is space for baby Hmm. I'm trying to tell him that we don't need to worry about that yet. Oh well..

Nicplus1and1baking, it was our first months of trying, we only gave up condoms about 3 weeks ago, which is why I was convinced the test was going to be negative. But here I am.

I also feel very reassured by everyone saying that the slight crampy feeling is nothing to worry about at this stage. Pewww. What a week. I've got an OU assignment due tomorrow night and finding it very difficult to concentrate today...

Congrats! What a lovely wedding present. It's nice you told him too, so he can share your special secret all day :)

Congratulations!
And bless your husband. I'm sure he'll come round :)

Enjoy your wedding!

Awww, congratulations on the pregnancy and on the wedding, two lovely events in one week, how wonderful.

I'm on pregnancy #2, and I was convinced CONVINCED that I was unsuccessful the month I conceived, precisely because my only 'symptom' was the not-quite-crampiness that heralds an imminent period. Like, I emailed my friend who knew I was trying, complaining at length that AF was hours away at most and therefore it hadn't worked, sort of convinced. and now I'm 4 months.

So, yeah, nothing to worry about. Tell almost-DH that babies are vair vair small at first, no need to rearrange anything!

Congratulations to you and your DH2B! The first symptom I had of my pregnancy was those 'period cramps' too. Even when they went on for two weeks the penny took a while to drop:) Have a great wedding and enjoy your pregnancy! BTW I think you were right to tell him now.
