Head down to transverse? Is this a problem?

Hi, I'm at 34+4 weeks and for the last month or so my baby's been in a perfect head down position. Today I felt lighter and better than usual walking down to the Post Office. My baby has the hiccups right now and I can really feel her jerking....on the right side of my stomach! (Usually I feel this down in my pelvis, where her head usually is). Do babies often change positions like this, at 34 weeks, and is she likely to go back to the 'right' position soon?
It worries me because I know that transverse often = caesarian.

Hi PPM,

This happened to me, but in fact DC went all the way to an unstable lie. Everytime I walked through the 'magic doors' DC went head down so the midwives thought i was imagining things! I tried reflexology to get DC turned, which i understand can help, although not for me. If it does come to a csection, getting a healthy baby at the end of the process is far more important than how it happens, IMHO, so please dont worry.

Mine has just turned from breech, then transverse, to head down at 36 weeks (I think anyway, finding out for sure next week) so plenty of time. Was transverse for ages and quite obviously so (see my thread 'sick AGAIN at 36 weeks'). My mw wasn't too worried at 34 weeks about position (dc2)
