21+2 been getting them for few weeks. I remember getting them really early on with DS but they seem stronger this time.
Probably get about 10/day I think. Had one about 10 minutes ago which was blooming uncomfortable-not painful as such.
Are these normal?? Part of me thinks well i've had them few weeks and nothing bad has happened so far.
Got cons appt weds am, so will ask then too.

Thanks in advance!

can't offer an answer but pregnant with DC2, 21 weeks and feeling exactly the same!

Thankyou dribbleface!

I have googled it a bit but that offered very little reassurance!
Today seems a bit better...only 1 so far. Have heard that dehydration can make them worse but no idea why.
My tummy gets so tight you can seen where baby is...weird!

I get them very regularly as well and they momentarily present the urge to need to run to the loo.... Confused The feeling does eventually pass thank goodness, but not very comfortable in the mean time!

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that if you're earlier than 37 weeks and getting more than four an hour then you should ring your MW for advice and probably to get checked over.

I'm 24 weeks and haven't had any yet (touch wood), I'm trying to remember when they started with DS and I'm sure it was around now so I'm probably due for them any time.

I found dehydration made mine worse, also if I ate too big of a meal, and (weirdly) if I was desperate for the loo but crossing my legs for whatever reason - there was many a time I'd be in a toilet queue with awful BHs.

Paracetamol can help if they're really bad but I found a warm bath or a walk around/change of position was really helpful and usually chased them off for a few hours.
