I am 9w + 5d and am having THE most mental and sometimes horrid dreams. I need to share these with you as they create such a mix of feelings for me. Last night I dreamt that Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall was my lover but then this lead into another dream where I had a miscarriage. It was awful. I was crying in my dream but I couldn't seem to cry enough and it hurt.

I know they are just dreams but they really affect me. They are in FULL technicolour. So odd.

Am I going mad and tell me this is related to pg!

:/

Last night's dream was lovely - I went to the 20 week scan and they said 'Cattleprod, your baby is 11 and a half pounds already!!' Eek! Grin

Yeah I am Leo. Assessment time is upon me again and I am beginning to feel the stress building Confused All my assessments are really involved this term, so I spend all day doing them and still feel like I have achieved nothing Sad

What are you studying?

I have long early labours, and have the best dreams during them. With DD2 I was involved in saving New York from the apocalypse, running around the city, but kept needing to stop, have a contraction then carry on running.

apricotears I am studying law, coming to the end of my first year...last exam tomorrow (have had two already) and all my assignments are finished! So after that I can breath a sigh of relief until october when I am due to give birth and also start my second year!! I hope your assessments go well, it is very hard when you have baby brain! :)

Cattleprod that is hilarious....I bet you were glad to wake up to a nice relatively small baby bump after that!!! On a more serious note my baby at 20 weeks is already a pound which by my calculations is very heavy for this early on!!! I am envisioning a one stone baby at birth..not pretty!

On the giving birth to wild creatures front, I was reading back my pregnancy diary last night looking for dates something happened and re-discovered a dream I had at 14 weeks about giving birth to a field mouse! Said field mouse was then sleeping on my sofa and someone sat on him. Fortunately, being a field mouse he wriggled out and was absolutely fine!

hahahahah So happy found this thread I had a dream two nights ago that I was waiting to have my 12 week scan done and really needed a wee and it kept being delayed. I eventually had the scan done and by now was desperate for a wee and looked at the camera to see the baby and lol it was a fully grown man with a huge monobrow lol with blonde hair. Strange thing was I didnt think it was strange in the dream! It gets even weirder the next night I dreamt I had a baby and put it in the draw by my bed it just lived in the draw lol and would sometimes take the baby out but each time it came out of the draw it changed colour! Who knows what I will dream about tonight lolx

I had a very vivid dream that my boss wanted to do my c-section.

He kept saying look, I've done it on sheep before, and inside you're just like any other large mammal.

On the front of weird dreams, I didn't have any for a while, but last night....

I dreamt my DH and I were staying in my parents' house, but it was very different.
Anyway, I went to take the rubbish out and a Naval officer stopped and asked me where my DH lived, so I showed him the house.
A little while later, my DH came out of the house in uniform (he is a Manager for Infrastructure and Networks...) and told me he had to go, as he had been enlisted.
I asked him when he'd be back and he said that they couldn't say, but at the least it'd be 6 months, so he'd miss the rest of the pregnancy and the birth. He said they were sending him to Krakow and I couldn't stop crying!!

I guess I'm scared that something might happen to him, leaving me and Poppy on our own.

Very vivid dream, so it's still very much in my mind and very distressing.
I'd rather birth a mouse, or other creature :(
