what will they do to me? The midwife said it was just for more tests, but what does that mean?

Nothing seems to have happened re the sweep as yet. Stubborn child Grin
Had another visual disturbance this morning, and have a very slight headache. Have taken some tablets. Eyesight okay now; its just very bizarre.
I have an at home blood pressure testing machine, took it earlier, it was 130/85 so am just kicking back on the sofa now.

Goodness! Not fun........ hope you're planning on staying on that sofa all day. I'd just check in with your mw seeing as the visual disturbances came back, as things can change fast with pe. Do you get migraines?? I do, and I get visual disturbances with them.

Good luck!!

I used to suffer quite badly with migraines before having DD, but then they seemed to settle down (never had visual disturbances though). A few years after having DD I had what they classed as a hemipligic migraine, which left me in hospital with symptoms similar to a stroke, fortunately all related to the headache and disappearing after 24 hours. I haven't had many headaches since then.

Am not planning on doing anything but lying on the sofa today - with exception of picking DD up later. Hopefully DH will be home earlier today and can pick her up.

Glad to hear you're doing okay Elf. I second what others have said about taking it easy and check in with your midwife/hospital if anything changes or you feel worse as PE can take hold really quickly. Good luck!

I third you take it easy and do nothing strenuous today.

A call to your midwife might be a good idea just for reassurance.
