Generally a pushchair is more comfortable, luxurious and big and bulky

a buggy is smaller, easier to push, lighter (like a Maclaren) & often folds nice and small

a pram is like a carry-cot on wheels for a little baby

Many pushchairs are 2 in 1 (use a pram seat when tiny then a nice seat when a bit older) some pushchairs are 3 in 1 (pram, pushchair, and take a car seat too) otehr wise known as a travel system.

You can get some 2 in 1 buggies, ie a buggy that takes a car seat

but im not sure where the border is.... some people will refer to a buggy as a pushchair or vice versa

A pram is a flat bed with a base mechanism on wheels. They go from birth. Most nowadays have either replaceable tops which convert them into a pushchair.

A pushchair is a conveyance for a baby over six months who can sit upright for longer than a few minutes.

Travel systems are a carseat/pram/pushchair combination so you can go straight from car to outside etc.

A buggy generally refers to a lightweight pushchair and such devices are only suitable after six months.

Your best bet (even if you don't buy from there) is to head to John Lewis and ask them to talk you through the options. :)
