DC2, found out this week is lying sideways with feet under my ribs, back to my pelvis. Will ceratinly be CS if he/she doesn't turn, which I really want to avoid. Does anyone have any advice? TIA

Ds was still transverse at this stage. He did turn on his own but i spent ALOT of time on all fours leaning over a birthing ball not sure if this helped or not but worth a try.

haven't got any advice, I am in the same position, had a scan at 34wks today and baby is transverse with head under ribs at one side and body across. Have also been told it's a section if she doesn't turn....

Thanks both, magicmelons do you mean with your belly hanging down and arms over ball? I haven't dug out the ball (from cupboard under stairs!) yet but could do

Yes just like that, watching tv, stick duvet or something under your knees. Its really common in 2nd and so on pregnancies because your uterus is more flexible i think most turn on their own. My MW didn't see particularly concerned and didn't ref me to the consultant just said they would worry from 36 +.

Thanks a lot Magic. Gosh even my uterus is saggy?! I had scared myself by looking on internet and didn't realise it was a potentially big inconvenience - I thought it was just on its way to head down. Will try everything I can, have ages to go anyway. Thanks again.
