Am fairly sure I can, but as with most medication it says ask your G.P first. To be honest if I leave it till after the weekend I fear I will have trouble walking :(

Anyone else use one whilst pregnant and only a couple of weeks gone.

i've used it twice and both times were told to by a obstetrician. I was much further along though, 28 weeks and 35ish weeks. I was told to use it like normal but push it up with your fingers rather than using the applicator.

I had thrush at about 30wks and the pharmacist wouldn't give me anything without a prescription - I looked very obviously pregnant though and I know they were just covering their own backs. The doctor prescribed me a canesten pessary and cream - I was warned not to insert the pessary too high as it can irritate the cervix and cause bleeding but, other than that it was fine.

As you are still in your first trimester, I would see if you can get any GP advice first. I know you cannot use the diflucan tablet, no matter what stage of pregnancy, but I'm not sure whether the pessary is contra-indicated in early pregnancy.

My obstetrician gave me one at about 12 weeks, I didn't use the applicator though. I also was given the cream.

I used one about 16 weeks, prescribed by GP. If the pharmacist knows you are pregnant I don't think they can sell it to you without a prescription, so you definitely need to see your doctor. The cream is fine to use though, so you can get some relief before you see the doc.

You won't get one from a pharmacist, but I've been prescribed them before now and that was early on too.

I get it all the time and have a few pessaries in waiting in my medicine cabinet so I could use one of those. Am sure it will be fine if I use one without the applicator.

Thanks again :)
