haha yes a fat fanny ! me too

god it must be all the pressure yuck

Ilovekittyelise · 08/05/2011 13:43

hahaha this is so funny....have recently made the announement to the long suffering husband that on top of all the other pregnancy/newborn expenses to add 'waxing' and 'pedicures' to the list. i don't know whether other swimming pool users are actually able to see my fuller 'lady garden' perhaps they are already averting their eyes at the sight of my udders.

i love the idea of a hollywood and vejazzle for the birth, hilarious!

Dutchie77 · 08/05/2011 14:47

Hmm, why don't you girls get a Brazilian wax some where? There is plenty of salons doing it....

JazzAnnNonMouse · 08/05/2011 16:47

I think I'd rather veet than wax - am I allowed?

haha this thread has made my evening. I also have a 'fat' fanny. I put the mirror 'down there' to try and wax and gave up after one strip so it's nice and wonky now haha. I think i will book myself in for a bikini wax (poor beautitian) this week. I'll be 39 weeks so hopefully baby will hold on till im a bit more pruned! I might book a pedi for the same time just to 'treat' myself after the pain of a wax! :)

Dutchie77 · 08/05/2011 17:30

Auch....RhiRHi still it won't be as painful as giving birth LOL. I am still lucky that I can still shave myself. But definitely going for a wax later on. No pain, no gain!

Jazz I think Veet will be fine. I read the website and it only says that waxing strips could give skin damage for pregnant woman. Depends on your skin type I think.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 08/05/2011 17:54

right off I go with the hair removal cream then!!
Do you reckon I should attack my gorilla belly too or will this just go after I pop? (Suddenly have grown a hairy belly since being pregnant...)
Oh the dignity.

what is a bejazzle / vejazzle?

davidtennantsmistress · 08/05/2011 18:50

LMAO the things us women have to endure.

davidtennantsmistress · 08/05/2011 18:58

sorry I meant vejazzle - apparently it's what one does to her fanjo to make it look more appealing to the other sex by way of stick on jewels etc (I might be wrong) it was on that horrid essex programme.

RhiRhi123 · 08/05/2011 18:59

Eviepoo - vajazzleing is when the bikini area is waxed and crystals are put on in pretty patterns haha also referred to as a blinkini :)

RhiRhi123 · 08/05/2011 19:00

blingkini*

theonlyhb2 · 08/05/2011 19:01

magicmelons as a regular "playboy" (or rather "hollywood") wax, I have noticed my fanny is getting fatter and more things are out than in!

my last wax was rather painful, am hoping this doesnt get worse!

Eviepoo · 08/05/2011 19:05

Haha, oh that is as daft as I imagined - I am sure my DH would just giggle so much, I might ask him over dinner if I should get one, just for the fun of seeing his face Grin

davidtennantsmistress · 08/05/2011 19:18

:o LMAO evie - just make sure he's not got a mouthful at the time or he may spit his tea everywhere.

so generally speaking is waxing painful or just more so when PG - am yet to try it.

RhiRhi123 · 08/05/2011 19:19

Apparently they only last 24 hours! or untill u have a shower! so don't get one then go home for a shower before u want to 'show' it off as it will be half missing lol.

Eviepoo · 08/05/2011 19:21

Waxing - I think is hellish
I had my legs done at 12 weeks and yes it was still hellish
Other friends say the more you do it the easier it gets but I have blonde downy hair so shaving usually does a fine job for me, I tend to get waxes on special occasions.

theonlyhb2 · 08/05/2011 19:23

i never used to find waxing that painful, more sensitive around my period, but the other day did feel more brutal. or maybe cos it had been longer between sessions than normal? I shall let you know next month :)

RhiRhi123 · 08/05/2011 19:23

I find waxing painful but im not a regular (more of a once a year before a holiday type thing Hmm ) although thats probably why im not a regular coz it hurts! However people i know that also get waxed professionally say it hardly hurts them now as the hair re-growth is really mimimal. I'd really like to be able to keep it up as it has much better results than shaving. Although they do say it hurts more when PG.

Eviepoo · 08/05/2011 19:23

I think I have some stick on crystals in my craft cupboard (I make cards)...this could be a laugh

RhiRhi123 · 08/05/2011 19:28

I've got some nail art crystals i could use however as i can't see or reach atm i'm not even going to attempt it. Besides the glue would all get stuck in my current 'overgrown' Blush bush!

MrBloomEatsVeggies · 08/05/2011 19:42

Why do you want to see it? I know I don't want to see mine (or anyone else to see it for that matter!!)

JazzAnnNonMouse · 08/05/2011 21:51

well... it's nice to know it's still there?

I don't know why I wanted to see it - I don't think I did especially, just noticed that I couldn't any more!

OP posts:
WiiUnfit · 08/05/2011 22:46

I would definitely rather Veet - much less painful!!!

As for vejazzling - did anyone read the thread about the MNer who used a royal wedding bath bomb from Lush & had a glittery fanjo? Grin May be cheaper & easier!

RhiRhi123 · 09/05/2011 08:00

I don't especially want to see it lol just that i can't see it anymore. I just want it to be a bit more groomed for when others have to see it in the delivery room lol.
