a pram to cheer me up!
Is it too early?
Due our second baby in October.

Has anyone else brought anything yet this early? :)

That looks very nice Midori, I will have to budget a little under that though.
I'm having a look on amazon and ebay too - although I have no idea how ebay works doing the bidding etc but the new stuff you can buy right up is often cheaper isnt it?

Thankyou. (again! Grin )

My friend got the same pram in a different fabric brand new and boxed on Ebay for much less. The person had a few they were selling. I am not great with Ebay either, but the same friend got he rcot and mattress on there brand new too and is always finding bargains.

We have also looked at the Baby Jogger city mini as a second pushchair as we are moving near a city in the summer and that would be handier on public transport. My DH loves it because of how it folds up, he's into 'gadgets'... Hmm You can put a car seat on it, but you need an adaptor I think.

There are so many prams out there!

I got mine at about 11 weeks as I saw a unmissable bargain - I though to my self I could always sell it on if things happened later

The range of prams and pushchairs available is so vast and overwhelmingly confusing that it will probably take you until at least september to research all the options and make your final choice!! Grin

Good to start thinking early though, in case you see a real bargain somewhere.

Ebay is great for prams.

If you can find a shop and have a look at them in RL first that's always better though.

I hate travel systems, but that's because I can't drive and they're usually pretty heavy.

I agree cattle - it is and when I look around at other people's prams they are all different! Laweasel I don't drive here either but hubby does but we don't go out often in the car as we are in London. I see your point though. Might be better to get a cheap car seat and do the pram thing on its own.

I put a deposit down on the pram I wanted for my DD2 after I had my 12 week scan. It was in a local baby shop who did a payement plan (went for the babystyle oyster). Finished paying for it and had it delievered to me when I was about 33 weeks pregnant.

With DD1 I was given a pram from my brother when I was around 11 weeks pregnant. Actually had everything by the time I was 28 weeks pregnant

From your brother?! I'd be lucky to get a card form my brothers! What a lovely brother you have!!
