Do you feel attractive when pregnant?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and enjoying lots of it - the feelings of movement, how it has made me and my partner even closer, using the pregnancy card to get massages etc (mwaa haa!) but I just feel really unattractive and fat!! I haven't gained a ridiculous amount of weight - just the amount I should have by this stage, but before getting pregnant I would get dressed up and go out to bars most weekends etc and feel quite attractive, now I just seem to spend my life in "comfy" clothes.

What happened to me feeling really sexy and glowing?!? Grr. How have you all felt in terms of attractiveness?

Georgi, same here - we are the lucky ones! I found the weight fell off too; I was back in my old clothes right after the birth but can't be too smug as I was quite fit when I fell pregnant and it took me serious work to get back the muscle tone and definition I had previously - was a size 8 with lumpy arms and legs and a spongy tummy for a while! Ah well, at least I know now that it can be done although not looking forward to the gym time! Twice in two years lol whyyyy! Although every time I feel the baby kick I know it'll all be worth it!

munkey I am also 30wks and am trying to do the best I can to feel attractive - no mean feat as the smallish Welsh town I live in has no shops that sell maternity clothes at all!! Grrr. With my last 2 pgs I just bought bigger size clothes, but looking back at photos I just looked swamped. This time round I was determined not to do that.

I have bought some maternity clothes online and then wait till we visit MIL in London to buy stuff there. Also some of the looser swingy type normal tops are suitable too.

I try and make sure my hair looks nice, put make up on when I'm going out, and in fact have just come back from my leg wax app this am. I work full time (self-employed) so I enjoy looking smart for that although it is a challenge. I have booked a hair app this friday for highlights & cut and it's long overdue. What I am trying to say is have yourself some treats even if it's just a long bath (not too hot tho) with candles and put some cream on your body afterwards etc.

It is all worth it in the end!

I felt amazing whilst pregnant...skin glowing, hair growing seemingly overnight and thick and shiney too...lost weight everywhere biut the bump so legs and arms looked slim compared to bump....oh i really wish i could be pregnant (and stay pregnant for 9 months) one more time....Sad

I'm 19 weeks now with my second dc and have just started to feel good - hoping it will last for the rest of my pregnacny, as it did last time. I too love having a cleavage (don't normally, my hair/skin is really good, and I feel good too :)

Hope it comes to you too...

I could've written this OP myself. At 18wks now and I look horrendous - I know it will get worse. I feel fat and hairy, and look tired and lacklustre. What happened to the famous pregnancy glow?

Also (this is going to be quite controversial so bear with me) I see much more heavily pregnant women when I'm out shopping and I just think they look awful with that big bump stuck on the front. I'm dreading that being me. I know loads of women really love it, and talk about "gorgeous bumps" and get "bump envy", but I just can't see it myself, I'm just terrified of the whole thing. I've never thought of pregnancy as an attractive thing tbh.

Sorry if that's offensive to anyone - I know it'll be me before too long don't worry!!
