Anyone had a sweep at 1-2 cms? What happened?

Just been given a sweep, was 1-2 cms but not yet fully effaced.

I know its pot luck, but been crampy for days and had a really uncomfy night last night with alot of niggles then this sweep today.

Just looking for stories :)

I had two sweeps. First one I was 2cm and my v experienced midwife was convinced I was going to go into labour at any time. Nothing happened. Had another a week later and went into labour about 12 hours later.

had a sweep on thursday, went into labour saturday night. no cramps before labour started, but did have what I thought was a bit of the mucus plug/ show thing on friday night

Nothing going on, feel a bit weird down there, but everything slowed right down from 3/4 days ago.

Am still ok with it though :)

Totoros ditto. Got another sweep at lunchtime (in between watching royal wedding stuff!).

had another bigger show today and really crampy.

Well the sweep really flipping hurt this time (diff midwife) and I have been walking all afternoon. So much so that i've really aggrivated my SPD! DH and I just had a little snooze.

Curry and ball bouncing for me tonight!

well still here, bit disapointing after my last 2 sweeps in pregnancy got me going right away.

I don't actually mind him not coming out yet, its just that he seems to enjoy pretending to come out!!

If all the cramps and shows and BHs would stop that would be great as I could cillax, but I go to bed every night wondering if this pain is the 'real' beginning and then I can't sleep properly and think my waters are going to go etc ....
its my nephews birthday party tomorrow so probably best he doesn't come now till Monday!
