Are Mothercare nursing bras any good?

I'm 36+5 and going to Mothercare tomorrow to do the final baby shop. I suffer from bad SPD and it's not easy for me to move around on public transport so I figured I'd get fitted for a nursing bra while I'm there. Just wondered what people generally think about their nursing bras.. Would I be better off just ordering online?

This website here is fab. Loads of choice even if you have huge boobs, and they are v.helpful.

I personally found Mothercare a bit pants for maternity and nursing bras. Not comfortable and not a big enough range of sizes - maternity bras that only go up to an E cup aren't much bloomin' use to those of us who wear a DD even when we're not knocked up! I've got some nice comfy ones from Debenhams. As people say, bra fitting's a pretty individual thing what with different cuts and body shapes. I've got a friend who raves about Carriwell bras, which apparently expand with you as you grow... HTH x

I got a pack of 2 in Matalan for £10 :-)

www.figleaves.com are brilliant. You can buy, try and return as many times as you like, so you can self fit. I went to MC to get a maternity bra, the woman was horrible, the fitting room was dirty and she measured me all wrong. I'm normally a 36E/F she decided I was a 40DD Confused How can my boobs have got smaller?

The Nursingbra-shop is great. They sell Hot Milk nursing bras which are really comfortable but still sexy! I found that once our son was born, it was so hard to get out to buy bras so this website was a life saver. You can send back anything you don't like or doesn't fit properly. I thought mothercare was ok but the choice is really rubbish if you are a 36 F like me. Hardly anything in bigger cup sizes - which I find staggering as I don't think my body shape is that unusual!! www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk

Another one with big boobs here who found mothercare rubbish for both maternity and nursing bras. Got properly fitted at John Lewis last time with DS and bought a couple of comfortable nursing bras, will be using them again this time round but think I have got (even) bigger so will also be trying the hot milk ones recommended by other MNers.
