Hello ladies

The one thing I love about MN is that we can all have a moan without feeling like a burden! So please join me...!

So...37 weeks with dc4. And had enough!!

DDs 1,2 & 3 don't care that mum resembles a blimp...theyve been on school holidays and have been bored (I can't do much compared to jam packed holidays normally!).

DD3 (2yo) has decided not to sleep. Ever. Or so it seems...(last night darling DH woke her leaving for work and she was up from 2:30 until 6:30am when I had to get up to do the school run). 3 kids were crying in the wee small hours because THEY were tired Angry. it's the 4th night in a row dd3 has been up all night.

My fanjo hurts thanks to massive vulval swelling on one side (which I was ordered onto bed rest for but it's a physical impossibility with 3 DDs!) and I can barely walk! MIL had a moan at me for "walking like John Wayne"...I was so tempted to flash my bits at her to shut her up Shock

I'm having MEGA braxton hicks with some whopping period & back pain which makes looking after the LOs tough work!

And I'm so heavy/sore/weepy that I cant wait for it to be over...then feel guilty for moaning as I really LOVE being pregnant & I'm being sterilised with my ELCS Sad.

Oh and I cant eat my giant cadbury dairy milk bars anymore as the heartburn makes me sick!

Thats better........Grin. Anyone else??

do i qualify at "only" 28 weeks? hope so.

reflux, piles, spd. all ouch and keeping me awake. also have cold and chest infection. and a toddler who wants to spend every waking minute in the park.

if i lay down its the reflux, if i sit its the piles and if i stand its the spd. and still so many weeks to go.....

oh and dh is complaining he is soooooo tired because he "only" had 6hrs sleep last night. grrrr.

oh well at least i am two thirds of the way there....

HipHopOpotomus · 20/04/2011 06:39

Mmmm cake! Thanks.

I have developed fear of small babies - I'm 38+5!

Went to kiddies birthday party yesterday - no party food :(. Seriously NO FOOD! I drank water all afternoon. Narry a fairy cake, crisp or grape to munch Hmm rich thin people! Weird!

Just slept for 7 hours though HOORAY! Only 3 night before. Cheerful optomosim can't help but shine through after 7 hours sleep.

No car seat for baby yet! Gotta sort that.

Loving all this sunny weather - hope to swim with dd today.

clouise better now than when baby comes re chick pox! Dd had them 2 months ago. DONE!

36+3 and after reading all your moans I think I'm actually relatively lucky!

The worst thing I'm suffering from is hay fever, thanks to the bloody birch tree in the garden (it's a rental so I can't chop it down). So I have itchy eyes that are driving me mad, an itchy and constantly runny nose, explosive sneezing fits (and a less than wonderful pelvic floor LOL), coughing fits, and getting through at least one box of tissues per day. Apart from that I'm feeling okay - or at least as okay as you can at this stage. I suppose I should be grateful.

saldoozer was it the BBC GF recipe? definitely didn't serve 16... :o

I wish my husband would JUST. STOP. MOANING. sick of listening to it right now... grr.

saldoozer · 20/04/2011 14:49

ivysendai it was the BBC GF recipe but I only had enough rhubarb to make half. It is 3/4 gone already Wink

Almost6 · 20/04/2011 21:03

Hope there's not a rule for how many times we can moan on here, lol
Bloody h, after kids been in the garden allday a bit of grass n sand on kitchen floor ask him to Hoover it up and get met with " it's to bloody hot to Hoover".
Had a back that's felt like it's braking all bloody day, not to mention my own on board central heating system, yet I've still tided up, made the beds, 3loads of washing! Yes he's right is to bloody hot but I managed so y shouldn't he, after Hoovering just the kitchen n hall f's off to mummy's for a dinner n to watch football. So pissed off!
N then I bath kids do dinner and get them to bed, but hey as long as he not to hot!
Sorry bout the rant!

NorkilyChallenged · 20/04/2011 21:17

Yay, this is the place for me Grin

36+3, moaning miserable. Had 2 nights of crampy back/tummy pains and braxton hicks for nothing. Every bit of me is sore. I can't eat much without feeling sick/getting heartburn. DD2 has decided to wake for about 2-3hrs in the night every night and wake up the entire house....

LittleMumSmall · 21/04/2011 10:08

38 weeks and just plain knackered. Reassured to hear about so many sleepless nights, good to know I am not alone!

Everything wakes me up at night now - constant peeing, hot weather, heartburn, BH contractions. Oh, and 18 month old DS has now decided he cannot sleep through the night either (I swear the bigger I get the more demanding he is!). Will be so relieved when DD arrives...thanks for setting up a ranty thread, OP, and good luck to everyone, it won't be long now!

trixie123 · 21/04/2011 21:55

Littlemumsmall am having the same issue with DS1 (20m) who has been really erratic in the last few weeks with his sleeping - used to be almost 100% sleeping through but lately been waking up in the wee small hours mostly it sees just for cuddles and company - really hoping we can sort it out before DC2 comes but looking unlikely. Add that to waking for wees and cramp (me not him) and you have on very tired mummy - though the upside is that DP is off work at the mo and picking up a lot of the slack so not all bad!

4pudding · 21/04/2011 23:55

Can I join in?

38 weeks, SPD, awful piles. Feel like a really bad mum to my gorgeous 4yo DD who just wants to play and have fun, and I can't walk (due to SPD) can't sit (due to piles) and really short tempered (due to lack of sleep).

Wanted this one to cone quickly but now piles have come back with a vengeance would quite like a few days for them to stop being so bloody sore before I go into labour.

Feel jealous of everyone looking forward to Easter :(

MattysMumNBump · 22/04/2011 14:53

Hi I'm 36 weeks and fed up. This is my 2nd and final baby, oh getting snip. I'm.exhausted, in complete agony with spd got inflamed eye, allergic reaction on arm and my ds has decided to stop.sleeping through. To put icing on the cake ds has sickness bug n I'm not feeling too good so waiting for sickness start.Im also being monitored for pe n there was protein in pee this week n blood pressure slightly up. Come on baby !

4pudding · 22/04/2011 15:20

I tell you what though, I'm glad I've only got a couple of weeks at most and not a whole summer of heat being pregnant!

Bunnyjo · 22/04/2011 23:19

Can I join too? Nearly 36wk, have crippling SPD and have ruptured my knee ligaments - so am trying to hobble around on crutches! DD is 3.8 and on Easter break from nursery and I feel terrible that, on her last nursery/ school holiday before baby arrives, I can barely walk - let alone entertain her Sad

I have annoying night-time leg cramps, which are proving difficult to deal with when I cannot stretch one of my legs out or stand on it to ease the cramp. I also have heartburn and am drinking milk and gaviscon by the pint!

But I know that, once baby is here, I am going to miss feeling him move inside my tummy and feeling those kicks and squirms. So I am trying to treasure these last few weeks as this may well be my last pregnancy...
