Roobedoo · 02/11/2005 19:27

runtus · 03/11/2005 10:30

nik72 · 03/11/2005 10:52

flamesparrow · 03/11/2005 10:55

I even dreamt about buying maternity stuff in Asda last night

flamesparrow · 03/11/2005 10:55

Next still do round here...

dyzzidi · 03/11/2005 12:15

Debenhams do as well in Manchester

Enid · 03/11/2005 12:15

dotty p's used to

novadandypowder · 03/11/2005 15:57

You don't need maternity wear!! I've just had my DD and really didn't need to buy specialist stuff. Just got some jeans in the next size up, got some wrap around stuff and tops in a M rather than a S from Gap and thats all I needed. Also means I can wear most of it now.

Enid · 03/11/2005 15:59

there was no way I could fit into a pair of size 14 jeans at 30 weeks pg!

although if you dont mind wearing trackpants for the next 6 months you could probably do that

Bozza · 03/11/2005 16:06

I'm too Enid. I bought stuff the next size (12) up to last me until about 4-5 months and maternity stuff as well. And the maternity stuff was tight by 35 weeks.

OK so I did get huge....

flamesparrow · 03/11/2005 16:10

My friend keeps telling me to do that, but I'll just end up with clothes with a really baggy bum, if I want them to go round the waist.

GhostofNatt · 03/11/2005 16:10

try that 3 babies down the line novadandy (hollow laughetr)...

teeavee · 03/11/2005 16:29

I wore dp's jeans for a while - preferred comfy trews that went over the bump though

Tweeni - I notice that you have posted about 10 questions on pregnancy on mumsnet in the last few days. I am concerned that you have not yet been to the doctors or got any medical care or advice and yet you are 17 and think you are more than 3 months pregnant. You really must do this soon

Mums net is not a substitute for medical care for you and your baby.

You also need to get some help to think through the issues you have about your baby?s father, your school and your parents. To honest, you have bigger problems to worry about than hair dye or maternity fashion

Does anyone know where I can get one of those zip-in panels that you can attach to your normal-size skirt and trousers to make room for your belly? Would like to avoid having to buy any more maternity clothes for as long as possible but neither my local Mothercare or John Lewis seem to do them.

hotmama1 · 07/11/2005 13:31

Root - I think I remember seeing those panel things in the Blooming Marvellous catelogue (or look at the website)

In my opinion,H&M has the best stuff.
