Lady I havn't coped at all, although it has been HG rather than ordinary MS. DS has been in nursery full time for the last five weeks, and I have begged friends to have him at week ends and called in the Grannies.

Ah yes, I spent the whole of December in bed, couldn't get anywhere near the kitchen and lost half a stone in 2 weeks. I'm utterly amazed that anyone with morning sickness would venture out at all. There was no way that I was going to commute to work with a sick bag thank you very much.

I have a phobia of being sick as well, and amazingly I was only sick the once but I felt awful 24/7. I had madeleine cakes by the bed for when I first woke up, then would have a shower, and then would have to have breakfast cereals straight after. This way I wouldn't be sick, but I still felt terrible, and there were days when I couldn't turn my head in bed without feeling overwhelmingly nauseous. I walked around the flat with a fresh lemon cut in half stuck under my nose, the only smell I could cope with (I occasionally licked the lemon too Blush.

I was feeling much better by mid-January and now I'm 26 weeks I'm totally fine. I doubt I will ever forget how miserable a time that was though...

Bike- Thank goodness it isn't just me. I feel awful putting on my dh so much the second he gets in the door. I cannot cook (smells) either which is a nightmare and dh most certainly can't anyway...

Started bleeding last night, ended up in A&E, scanned and probed and there's a heartbeat, so some good news. An excuse to get my feet up now though. Still feel crap but the medicine has eased it off big time :)

NEVER AGAIN 13 weeks and it's just getting worse. DS asks me every day - are you feeling well today mummy? and then - but I want you to be well mummy Sad Sad Sad

Good luck vibes LadyOfTheManor

I said "Never Again" for 2.5 years. Now nearly 13 weeks with DC2. And it was planned, I just convinced myself it would be different this time. Wrongly.

My dt's are 10 this year and I'll never forget it. It's a hugely underestimated condition imho and is often made light of which doesn't help Hmm. I have unending sympathy for anyone suffering severely with itSad.

'Morning' sickness. Pah! Who called it that?? Probably the people who have a teensy little burp first thing then nibble a ginger biccy and all is well.

This sounds mad but trying to find a smell you can bear to be around helps with the awful feeling in you head sometimes. For me it was fresh cut lemons. Gawd knows whyConfused.

It seems as though your smell and taste senses become turned up to mega volumes and the slightest thing is overpowering and nauseating. Sleep is good. Get as much as you need even if it seems to be ridiculous amounts. At least you don't feel sick then. Try not to get dehydrated - easier said than done I knowSad Hope it goes soon.
