! and i was ABOUT to post a message about this on here!sooooo interesting reading ALL THIS.....

im 42 and had my first dc at 40. i think i want another .? always thought one would be enough.....

my partner def does want more infact he's pushing me a bit due to my AGE
but here is my dilemma; i would really like to have the second once dc 1 is at school ( she's 15 months now) as i have found it so hard physically- ie tiring! that i thought i could then focus on dc 2 without distraction and seeing mums struggling with 2 has reinforced that belief !

BUT im running out of time at 42 1/2 ! and other mums/my partner/sister
( who has two boys ) say you have to get a move on . we have already taken a few 'risks' and nothing has happened tho i feel this is due to timing / breastfeeding/ and not wanting to concieve yet!

i would like to wait til jess is at least two ( i will then be nearly 43 ) to concieve so she will be only 3 months away from nursery age by the time dc2 is born.

help!

mop I have just had dc6, I conceived at 43, was 44 when she was born. I would really like another but am aware of time not being on my side. 42 is fairly normal these days my mw told me. Can see wher you're coming from, why not just let nature take it's course. Are you still bf? I tend not to get periods until bf stopped altogether.

I'm 43 and due dc2 in 2 weeks. Natural conception, just slow to start :)
