Baby head down at 34 weeks, can he still turn?

That's pretty much it..? I'm 34+4 today and had a random GP appointment earlier this week where the doctor told me baby was head down. I think he's been head down for about a week now judging by the way I waddle nowadays and the feeling of weight just above my pubic bone.. Is it likely he would still turn?

Very much doubt it...by 34 wks most babies are a decent size and room in hotel uterus is getting cramped!!!

My baby was breech and turned at 34 wks, it felt like my entire insides were gonna fall out- really could not believe how strong this somersault felt!

Lets just say that if your baby does manage to turn around, you'll certainly know about it!!

Phew, that's what I thought and hoped!

I think he was turning back and forth a couple of times about a week ago before finally settling, because it looked and felt like he was trying to break his way out of there Shock! Now I just see something round and hard move about every once in a while around my belly button and the doctor said it's probably his bum rather than the head. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope the MW can confirm this tomorrow at my appointment..

Hate to say, but MW said I was cephalic at 34 weeks and then breech at 36. BUT I had a successful ECV and this is my second, so more room maybe!!

Did you feel your baby move between 34 and 36 weeks?

He can still turn although it probably isn't so likely. My DS2 was breach at 32 weeks (confirmed by scan for other reasons), 34 weeks and 38 weeks (scan). I was booked in for a c section the following week and when I turned up they wanted to scan me again. The little blighter had turned at some point during the week. I had absolutely no idea.

Hm... I wonder if I would wake up if he turned during the night.. Maybe I'll just sleep on my birthing ball leaning on a table :)..

My baby moved a lot - still does - none of them were the washing machine type moves Leilababy describes but it is her first (and they're all different!)

Mine turned from LOA to posterior at 34 weeks... I am devasted... Try to lean forward as much as possible; sleep on your left; sit ona ball; do squats and crawl on all fours...
