Has anyone any experience of this? at what point in your pg did it kick in. Are you more prone to PND?

Hi Iris, Like Fangache, I had this in the late stages of pg. It actually went away about wk40 and again, I didn't have PND afterwards. Good luck with the pg.

Just a quickie to thank you all for your support and advice. I had my GTT on Fri (which I failed - now have to self test for 2 weeks & stick to low GI diet) which made me notice that I hadn't been eating properly for the past few weeks. I've always known I need to eat regularly (and properly) or I get a bit overwrought/emotional so I think that probably my fluctuating sugar levels have been a big factor in my mood.

I spoke to MW too and she said she had seen the sugar/mood link before and always asked anyone who said they were feeling down what their diet was like. Feel suitably contrite now , and that I should know better, but am sharing it just in case anyone else is in the same sweetbutmiserableboat.... FWIW have felt markedly more cheerful since I stopped the chocolate & honeyontoast fests between meals & ate properly!!
