Change in movements, still fretting

Hello all :)

33 weeks now and ended up at Triage last night as baby had quiet day. Heart trace fine and CTG(?) fine and baby moved twice whilst there but I'm still not happy. Her movements jsut feel different. More squirmy than kicking and more noticeably a lot less frequent. Not slept last night through fretting and wondering how long I leave it before I get in touch with midwfie again. Currently chopping an icelolly to see if that wakes her up. Tips or advice gratefully received.

Thats great news!..... what a good size for your little girl! Fantastic!!! I think your good vibes have maybe passed onto me today too.....

My consultant said that changes in pattern of movement are not unusual. As the baby gets closer to birth they start to fall into more of a routine of periods of sleep and activity, and so long as I am getting some regular movements, not to worry too much (even if I am the one provoking them). Typical that she was moving like mad all through the scan :-)
He did say however that if the movements reduced dramatically to call the hospital etc. I didnt feel like I was being neurotic either after I talked to him....
My baby is really small (diagnosed IUGR) and today was 3lb 12oz vs 2lb 11oz two weeks ago, so we are happy with that - thats the biggest weight gain we have seem and I have been scanned weekly or more since 20 weeks!

Hoping you dont need to go again and the next 6 weeks are uneventful :-)
