Please tell me I can...

I have such back hayfever at the moment.

Are there any anti-histamines that are completely safe?

i'm with you walkbesidemme i know we can't take regular antihistimines, but what can we do?

are there any natural remedies or suggestions?

i may just try going to the gp tomorrow as i think you can get a prescription nasal spray if you're desperate.

I feel floored by the hayfever - asthma, snot, itchy red eyes, waking up with them stuck together. Really dreadful. I've taken loads of piritons already before I knew I was pregnant.

No you cant

but you can bathe them in cold black tea if you have an eye bath.
It works and relieves the itching i promise

My midwife said nasal sprays were ok - ask your pharmacist

There's a few things you can do, like saline sprays, vaseline in nose, change your clothes every day, wash your hair, stay indoors and keep your windows closed when pollen count is high, but no anti-histamine tablets.

I went ot my doctor at 8 weeks as I was feeling very poorly with Hayfever. He researched it and said that it was totally safe to take Loratadine and it won't do any damage to the baby.
My advice is to go and chat to your GP, mine was brilliant and said if it got worse to come back and see him and he'd prescribe a nasal spray as well.
Hope this helps
