I am 24+5 had no real pain but things don't feel right 'down below' itms, feels like baby is low down as all my kicks are very much low and below bikini line under my belt.

Read more horror stories than not of placenta praevia and seems a long way off for scan in 8w time. So wondered how likely it is that if placenta is completely covering os whether it will move? MW seems very certain it will

Hi, I am 26 weeks, lo lying placenta just covering os too. Had very slight spotting at about 23 but they think not the placenta, rather cervical erosion thing (apparently common too). Can't offer any answers as such but empathy as am in same position. Also my kicks are sometimes very very low, feels like they are in my front bits or bottom!!! Had that last time preg but placenta not low then. Have spd so very uncomfortable too. Bern told good chance placenta could move, I too am willing the weeks till the scan!!!!! Take care

Me too. Kicks feel v low too. Was surprised by that as last time don't remember feeling them so low. But maybe my memories come from later in the pregnancy.

Hoping it moves but today been advised to not travel or have sex unless scan confirms moved safely out of the way. Disappointed about my holidays which had booked as pre baby treat.

I had low lying placenta with DS2, was partly covering at all scans up to the birth and was touch and go as to whether I could have natural birth. Had a natural birth tho and all was fine so mine must have moved.

Good luck.

I had that though not fully covering os. It moved by the time they checked with a scan and they usually do. Another instance of modern medicine making you safer but worrying you because you know things you wouldn't have known about in the past. To cmm with the spd, it's miserable. Mine eased quickly after the birth. 2nd time I'd been hobbling about on crutches by the end. Push hard for physio, it really helps, read all you can to learn how not to aggravate it. The best tip I gleaned was to wear silky (nylon!) pyjama bottoms to make turning over in bed a bit easier.

Thanks for tip on spd fusspot! Trying to stay positive as know it's worth the pain when they're here but sometimes it does get you down doesn't it!
