Link between spd support belts and breech?

I know this is early (I'm only 22+3) but I'm using a Serola belt for SPD and back pain. So far, all movement has been consistently low down (I know there's plenty of time!).

This all happened with dc3 too and he was turned at 37wks as he stayed breech.

What I'm wondering is whether there is a link between support belts and breech babies? Or was it just bad luck last time and could it be fine this time?

My babies have a tendancy to find a position and stay there - dd1 was head down at this point, dd2 was resolutely transverse until she finally flipped at 37+6, ds had to be manhandled into head down and it was very traumatic. I ended up having morphine and the consultant really didn't want to attempt it a third time (though thankfully he did and it was successful).

I have no intention of not using my support belt, but I was wondering if anyone has used one for more than one pg and found any of what I've said to ring true? Also posting in childbirth topic in case someone over there knows!

oh... I though support belts were meant to help babies stay head down by supporting your lower abs or some such?? Maybe not if the baby is already breech...

sorry my mistake- read this on spinningbabies.com (love this site):

''Lifting the lower abdomen with a pregnancy belt (or tied scarf) can support the slope of the uterus and help the baby slip behind the pubic bone, instead of on top of it... And this use of the belt shouldn't be so tight as to prevent the baby from dropping down into the pelvis.''
