Do I really need a nappy bin?

Off to Tescos soon to and I saw that nappy bins were on offer with the Baby Event.
I'm in two minds if we should bother getting one and just use nappy sacks.
Are they a waste of money/couldn't live without item for you?

WE had one and I thought it was great. However, we have twins, got through loads of nappies, the wheelie bins were not just outside the door and being able to have one thing that I didn't have to do as often was a good thing! The refils are expensive if you just pop out and buy them but you can buy non branded refill kits on ebay or if you want the proper ones you can subscribe and save on amazon and that makes it a bit cheaper. I'd put it in the non essential but useful if you have a trek from changing area/bin or have multiples category!

Nope. Waste of money! We have just an ordinary little flip top bin that lives in our conservatory. Now we are well into potty training I think it's on the way out!

It totally depends on your situation, and personal preference. When DS was little we just had a bucket with lid in his room, popped them in there and emptied it every 2-3 days. As he started weaning and the pops got smellier I bought a proper nappy bin, but for £3 on a Facebook selling site. It's been great at keeping them in without them smoky the room out. But then I don't want smelly nappies around the house or in kitchen bin which gets filled quick enough as it is, and don't want to go out to the outside bin at 3am when I've just changed his nappy!

I've bought one from Tesco on offer but only because I live in a flat and would need to leave baby to go outside (after opening my door, flat complex door and then an electric gate) to put the soiled nappies out.

It's up to you. They're only £12.50 at the moment.
