Pie,

I am in total awe and admiration of you. You've done so well - I can't begin to imagine what it has been like being sick for 40 weeks. But at least you can be totally reassured that it will go completely after your baby arrives. Roll on your baby's birthday!

Does anything really help? I tried out every piece of advice I was given and nothing worked. I survived on carbs, about the only thing I could keep down at all. Pasta cooked and drained with a bit of vegetable bouillon in water was about the best thing. And as for those 'mind over matter' types - what a load of rubbish! Mine stopped at 20 weeks, the relief was huge - am trying not to think about having to go through it all again with #2.

I had it all the way with both dds,big time! Always thought I'd have 4 kids but 2 pregnancies were enough for me!!!Probably not what you want to hear though. But having a 2nd dd?sibling was worth it!

Hi - I have just set up a party-plan company selling everything for pregnancy to pre-school and I stumbled across this tape you can use...it's been tested by the NHS Andover Birth Centre and found to be effective at "significantly relieving" the symptoms of morning sickness. It's non-invasive and completely safe to use. We normally sell it for £20, but I'm happy to offer it out at a 10% discount to Mumsnet users! Not sure if I'm allowed to put my company details here...but you can either email me back or contact me on 01737 213701 or through our website at \linkwww.mamatoto.co.uk.{}

I really suffered with both my pregnancies, so I know that anything you come across is a huge relief! Ginger beer worked (a little) for me?

Vitamin B6 really did help me tremendously (2 pregnancies). Would be interested to meet anybody who tried it and found it didn't help... but it's not viewed as safe in pregnancy in the UK (is in the USA), so you have to decide how miserable you are!
