Dull, tight feelings are what contractions feel like - have you called the MW yet?

If it feels calm, go to bed, get some rest & if you feel at all worried call the MW again, don't worry about bothering her, that's her job, she's there to help, & get your mum over - don't be alone. Good luck with it, I'm thinking of you, hope to hear a birth announcement soon!

It sounds like the pains I have 9now 37 weeks pregnant). I rushed to hospital on midwife's advice to be told it was Symphysis pubis dysfunction (pelvic girdle pain). I knew it wasn't labour but it was not pleasant. I still get it but follow advice given about not lifting, getting in and out of car with both legs together and not overdoing it.
