morning sickness or underactive hyroid?

Hello, I've posted in conception but no replies so thought I'd try here.
I've been feeling really sick for the last week. It began every day at about 4.30 ish and lasts about 2/3 hours. Last couple of days it has been in the mornings as well.
I have tested last Thurs but got a BFN, but my periods are very irregular (I have PCOS) anything from 35-90 days so I was testing early (day 28 Blush). But my theory was that if I was experiencing morning sickness my hormones would be up enough for BFP?!? Confused
Now, I also have an underactive thyroid but at my last check my levels were normal and stable due to thyroxine. But last night, after feeling sick pretty much all day, I felt I had a bit of a lump in my throat which made me wonder (but hope not) that it's my thyroid playing up instead.
Is nausea a symptom of underactive thyroid. I didn't get that as a symptom initially if it is. I can't find a link between the two anywhere.
If not, could it be morning sickness as, with my DS, I didn't get it till week 6/7?
Sorry this has become long. I'm desperate to test again but still only on day 30 so not over due for me.
Any ideas? Experiences?
Very gratefully recieved!

I don't know whether the hormones that cause ms are the same ones that the tests detect, but I do know - from personal experience - that it is possible to have regular ms before 28days after you LMP.

Underactive thyroid can cause many symptoms, but regular nausea at specific times of the day? I think not.

Fingers crossed Smile

Thank you. Might go by a clear blue???
Obviously I meant thyroid in my thread title!

I have a underactive thyroid and I've never had nausea as a symptom (bad hair, bad skin, overwhelming tiredness, weight gain and hormonal depression for me Smile) On the other hand I always got morning sickness from around 2/3 weeks, well before I missed a period.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Smile

Good morning
Well, did another HPT (I know i should have waited a few days)
Any way got a faint line!!!! After 5 mins, which got slightly darker by 10 mins. (15 was the max for reading) OMG
Just hope I'm not imagining things

It's definitely possible to have nausea but not get a BFP straight away. For me, nausea kicked in at 3 weeks but I didn't get a BFP until just over 4wks. And that was with clearblue digitals.

A line is a line as they say so hopefully you're in BFP territory!

Also there have been some studies done suggesting links between underactive/overactive thyroid problems and hyperemesis gravidarum. Don't want to scare you though, doesn't mean you will definitely get HG, just something to keep in mind and maybe raise with your GP if you get worse.

Good luck and congratulations!

Hello all. Another (not quite so) faint line this morning so hoping it is a bfp. I've booked an appointment to see GP now to find out for certain! Smile
