How much does your baby move at 22 weeks?

I seem to be freaking out, I don't feel him a lot. Definitely few times a day.
This is my second pregnancy and considering DS is only 8 1/2 months old I cannot seem to remember how often I should be feeling movement.
I haven't googled

I am drinking cold fizzy water with Ribena to encourage some movement to put my mind at rest.

DS was such an active baby perhaps this one is more chilled out and has more room to wriggle?

Ahh this one part of pregnancy that really stresses me out :(

I am 22 weeks. Feel the baby moving several times during the day, in short bursts. Can go for hours without noticing anything.

I don't really notice very much until the evening when I'm sitting quietly - I guess my baby's going to be nocturnal... [gahhhhh! emoticon]

I'm 23 weeks yesterday, some days I seem to feel more than others, baby seems to come alive when I'm lying in bed at night just now. Did have a panic at the start of the week as I thought I wasn't feeling much after feeling movements all weekend but have told myself that baby will have quiet days and busy days! Think as long as you're feeling something every day it's fine.

I have just turned 23 weeks too, and often don't notice movements for hours. If I'm active and moving around or thinking of other things, I just don't notice. It's only really when I get home and have been relaxing on the sofa for an hour or so that I really do notice the baby move.

Think we're still at the stage where movements are erratic and not always felt :)

mine was like that, too... don't worry too much. you are only supposed to start tracking the movement from 28 weeks onwards

Im 23 weeks today an am pretty much the same feel her moving more at night, but have come to the conclusion that DD1 age 2 is a big distraction meaning that i probably dont have the time to notice and spend hours laid on my back poking and trying to get a response as i did when i was pregnant with DD1 Grin

I've just turned 21 weeks and usually feel him once or twice during the day (usually when reading aloud in class. Bless, he likes Shakespeare!) and then just before bed. Not often though.

I had the scan yesterday and found out the placenta is at the front, apparently that can mean you don't feel so much.

jenga I was just going to say the same thing about the position of the placenta. I was told at my 12 and 20 week scan that I have an anterior placenta (at the front), which basically acts like a pillow between you and the baby.

Whilst that's good to know, it's not exactly reassuring in terms of knowing how much you should be feeling at each given stage!
