sounds like it may be her waters. Mine went in a similar way..I had a wee but wouldn't stop iykwim..It seemed like I was weeing continiously!! BUT this was nothing compared to when I arrived at the hospital...it was like a waterfull in one go! And apparently thay was only my hind waters ..Deffo agree to getting her to speak to her mw or gp as if it is her waters they need to monitor her and the baby as she will now be prone to infections so baby needs to be delievered within the next day or 2..well thats what I did and was told. HTH.

sorry didn't read her age. I was 40wk exactly. I also didn't have any pain for funny feelings..just lots of fluid!!!
BUT at around 30weeks I did start getting more "damp"..sorry itmi...I needed to wear a pad...

30 weeks is early but don't stress as baby can be born at 30 weeks and still be fine...We only relaxed slightly at 30 weeks knowing that if dd was born then that she would have a good chance of survival.
How is your friend today..?

Amniotic waters are clear and smell starchy (like potatoes?) rather than yellow, ammonia smelling wee. They can trickle or really gush - drs/midwifes can test with a swab but you need a trickle at the time IYKWIM. Mind you, I'm nearly 30 weeks and get really damp! I'ts not urine just increased discharge which I think is pretty normal.
