Has anyone had a growth scan this late and been told the expected weight of baby?

were they correct or did they get it very wrong?
how big did they say your baby would be and how big was your baby when born?

TIA

liz

DD was monitored for IUGR. At 37 weeks I was admitted to hospital, scan showed 4-4.5lbs. She was induced and arrived at 6lbs 2oz, but VERY skinny (DS was 9lb 6oz, and all my family were 9lb+)

yes - with dd1 had a growth scan - and they didn't really tell me any of that info ( they were checking other things as well as growth)- as it turns out - at her 38 week scan - she ended up being born an hour or so later by c-section.

With dd2 had a growth scan at 36 weeks or so - they estimated that she would be around 9lbs at term - she was born 10 days late and was 9lb 7oz - so they were pretty spot on.
