Hi all

I'm sure this thread has been done to death but couldn't see anything.

We don't know what our baby is but both loathe the idea of blue for boys etc and would like to dress our baby in bold bright colours that would be what would be considered unisex; we know that the germans and scandinavians tend to do a better job than us with this type of clothing; anyone got any suggestions for where to shop. I love boden stuff, but don't really want to spend that kind of money on everyday clothes!

Thankyou xxx

Also try www.greenbaby.com/

We've had some lovely things from there and they're still good the second time around!

TK Max has some good stuff - the more expensive brands at cheap prices.
I have got a few nice things from Ebay, and also some nice unisex multicoloured stuff from Next.

Dylon on plain whites is a good idea though!

I have recently had great success dying my old stained Muslins with dylon and now have a rainbow of colours, am thinking of getting some White babygros and doing the same with them Smile

I am totally the same. I left mother care crying the first time (hormones) coz I am determined not to dress my baby in pastel blues or pinks! There are some amazing links here, thanks guys :)

In TKMaxx look out for Molo, Katvig and Smafolk brands for a lot cheaper than from the actual stores/online stores.

H&M as others have said for lovely bright basics. Also their gender specific ranges include "unusual" colours (like brown or green for girls!!!) for when the baby is a bit older.

Toby Tiger do lovely bold striped sleepsuits which are unisex and fab.

Independent baby clothes shops often seem to have nicer, more unusual colours mixed in with the pastels (yawn!). Not sure where you are, but some nice shops that spring to mind are in Holt, St Ives and Evesham!!!!

Also, Green Baby have some nice stuff - it can be a bit expensive, but they do have a sale section on the website!
