I'm RH-ve and at the beginning of pregnancy was told I would need Anti-D at 28wks, got to 28wks and was told would have it at next appointment at 31wks, at 31wks told that none was available that day so they will have to order - now at 32wks and still nothing! Is this not getting a bit late or am I worrying over nothing?

I think they say between 28-32weeks but most get it at 28weeks. I'm 25weeks with DC3 an latest I've had it was 29weeks. I would personally try and push for it now but I honestly don't no what they consider as too late.

I think you need to call your m/w and be assertive. It's important that you get it before you go into labour, which isn't that far away now. I had mine at 28 weeks.

Thank you for your replies, spoke to doctor today and no chance of getting any until next week now (which will be 33wks). Have a doctors appointment on Monday so guess I will have to have another blood test for antibodies and keep my fingers crossed - will ensure they have plenty ordered before my due date - as you both say I think its time to get assertive!
I don't live in the UK so I guess my circumstances are unique but just wanted to confirm what I already thought i.e. it should have been done around 28wks.

They do seem quite relaxed now that they only give you the one big injection. So it's probably okay, but definitely make sur ethat they give it to you next time. I have already flagged to the MW to order it for my 29 week appointment and will be calling them the week before to remind them again (on the advice of the hospital midwife).

It is important to have it as if you get pregnant again and you haven't had the injection, that's when the potential problems kick in.
