Anyone had to give up on the school run near the end of their pregnancy?

Due 25th March and I am really struggling with the school run...I have to drive now as SPD means walking is too painful but its really taking it out of me and I feel a total wuss!

Thankfully half term is near which will give me a break but after that, have another 3 weeks of it before due date...and I'm not sure how its going to go

Wondered if anyone had to get their OH/DP to take over in the last week or so?

I am finding it difficult - due 7th March and have my 3 year old to take with me too, however getting anyone else to do it except on DH day off is not an option so just have to do it, although for me once half term is over we are practically there, but I feel for you and I dont even have SPD.

PussJimmy have you been on the March thread, we have our first ladies waters broken.

No I haven't been on the March thread - exciting that someone's baby is on the move though Smile may pop over there and say hello

Everyone keeps telling me ooh not long now and I can see what they mean but quite frankly, another 3 weeks of school run, potentially more if baby goes over due is enough to make me shriek!

I had DD2 exactly 2 weeks ago (12 days 'overdue'). I was still doing the school run with DD1 the day before I went into hospital to be induced, but the school is a good drive away so I didn't find it too difficult. Also the school run was all I 'had' to do in a day so I was able to rest in between if needed. Be kind to yourself - I luckily didn't suffer from SPD - if you're finding it difficult then try to get some help with the last few weeks. You're nearly there Smile.
