Another bra related post, I'm not obsessed, honest Blush

Have quite an ample bosom. Usually go to rigby and pellar for their expert fittings but just can't manage the trek from the car park to their store now with late pregnancy aches and pains but am desperate for nursing bras.

Pregalicious in maidstone will come to my house to fit me for free Grin . Just wondered if anyone used their services and how good they are at bra fitting and if they double the price of the bras to cover the cost of the home visit (something I hadn't considered until DH mentioned it to me as a possibility).

The only other options are trying to get someone to go to rigby and pellar with me for moral support for the journey (yes, I am now that pathetic) or risking it with M&S, whom I haven't heard good things about re: their bra fitting.

Hi! I am local(ish) to you - and also of ample bossom. I always go to Leia in Bluewater (where they also sold Rigby and Pellar bras until recently). They have a choice of 8 maternity/nursing bras and their fitting is always spot on (never never never trust M&S!). I can hardly walk due to SPD at the moment, but the Leia shop is easy to get to (upstairs between John Lewis and House of Fraser, opposite Hollister and Starbucks). Hope that helps? How many weeks are you? Where are you giving birth?

They are nice maternity bras too, I hasten to add!

Lisa who owns pregalicious is lovely, I have known her for a few years. I am about to arrange for her to come to me too. Can't be doing with undressing huge pregnant body in shops at mo. :)

narcolepsy will defo remember leia for future reference - think I know where you mean. I'm getting a bit fed up tbh with rigby as every time I go I have to sit and wait 20 mins/half an hour just to see someone and I feel a bit like I'm not wanting to pay what I consider top (ish) dollar for waiting around in their store. I'm 37 weeks so really need to get it done now (sympathise with spd btw - I have it (only mildly) and just can't learn my lesson - was bending alot doing hand washing of clothes etc in the bath today and have killed my back/pelvis).

lia that's good to hear :) do you know if the bras are alot more expensive than would usually be in other stores to cover visiting costs?

snow the ones she actually has in the shops are the same price and it is a free service so am guessing thats good. I'm going into town in morning, gotta book tickets at the theatre so I can ask her if you like.

snowangels1 · 31/01/2011 17:14

I feel a little Blush about asking her and appearing a cheap skate when I'm not (honest!). Same price as in store sounds perfect to me and so good I'm very excited to be fitted and sorted and getting that crossed off my list. woohoo. Thank you and enjoy the theatre Envy

no problem, I'll be booking mine too. Am 33 wks and simply can't wear this one bra any longer. :)

Thanks it the michael Jackson show and I'm taking my 7 yr ds and his friend.
