HELP! 38 weeks and low down pain that isn't contractions, baby engaging or baby turned?

Baby is breech, ECV didn't work and I had some tenderness at the top and bottom of my bump after the ECV last week. It was quite sore for a few days but that went away about 2 days ago.

I haven't felt the baby turn but the movements feel different, like possible little feet at the top so I am wondering if she has turned and I haven't realised (DS was transverse until 37 weeks and I didn't feel him turn either).

My bump is also lower today, others have also noticed it. Does it hurt when your baby engages?

I am thinking that the baby has engaged and that she has possibly turned (but then don't know if this is due to wishful thinking on my part). There does seem to be a lump where her head was at the top, but it doesn't seem to be there all the time and it feels longer, like it could be her back.

I'm not due to see the doctor until next Tuesday and I am waiting for the hospital to book my ELCS which will probably be next Thursday. Obviously if the baby has turned I can tell the hospital it isn't necessary but I don't know what else this pain can be.

Does anyone have any similar experience of baby turning or engaging and being sore at the bottom of your bump? It feels a bit like pulled muscles and it is painful to stand straight, particularly after sitting.

Could never really tell with mine which bit was which but I think I remember feeling heavier ( a sort of dragging sensation) in my pelvis when they engaged. I also remember feeling my cervix being headbutted (ow!)
If you are worried about baby staying breech then try kneeling on all fours and when you are sitting leaning forwards rather than back/or on a birth ball as these things are meant to encourage babies to end up in the right position.
I used to spend up to an hour a day on all fours as I really did not want a back to back labour as they useally take longer and are more painful.
Is this your first?

This is my 2nd. DS didn't engage and was only 3/5ths when I was more than half way through labour.

I'm pretty sure she was engaged and had tunred. Unfortunately, after I went to bed I felt a massive pop in my pelvis and she has moved, I think she is back to breech again as well. Sad
