Sorry cant help, but I'm waiting for the baby show, Excel late Feb that way we can try before we buy.

I have a bugaboo bee and I adore it, dd4 is now 2 and still fits in it fine, dd3 is 3 and has sat in it with plenty of room. It's lightweight, lovely to push, easy to fold and store and I love customising mine.

I bought a bee for DD and loved it when she was a baby. The harness became too tight at age 1 (with winter clothes and coat) Angry Still not sure if this was my fault or the pushchair but she is slightly taller than average. SIL is using it now and loves it. I need to get it back for DC2 (due in 8 wks) as it really is fab for babies if not so great for toddlers.

I've had the Bugaboo Bee since my DD was 3 months old (she's now 2). From birth-3 months I had the Pliko Pramette, but the brake and steering broke and I managed to get a refund. I'm sure I would've been ok with the Pliko, if it'd not been faulty, but I'm so glad it was because the Bee is, for me, perfect! Looks good, but more important, very lightweight (especially good for me because I had a c-section, with complications), so much so that until DD was about a year old I could carry her in her pram up and down tube steps with her on my hips. Also very narrow - great for zipping round the shops and getting on buses. The only drawback is that the brake is dodgy (and still is dodgy) but this is due to a fault with a the 2008 batch and Bugaboo offered extra parts, free of charge, via its website. I understand that the most recent version is ok. Re the harness, I did find it tight over DD's shoulders after a while but I haven't tried that hard to adjust it because DD wasn't keen on wearing it anyway and so I just secure her around the waist. Re general sizing, my DD is very slim for her age but above average height and fits in ok. Whereas some of my friends bought a Maclaren to replace/supplement their main pram, we've just continued using the Bee.

Sorry for long post but hope useful!

I use Bugaboo bee for my 7 months old Baby. I'm mostly happy with it, the only issues that I have with, is that I find it difficult to open when i'm not wearing asmall shoe ( not shoe size) and the harness still looks small after its extension. Although I love it because its V light weight, the sun canopy can be changed to various colours, as well as the Baby cocoon. Its very easy and light to push and has a big shopping basket to put shopping bags if one does not drive. Also it looks solid. I have noticed that its now very common. Its not cheap though. Good Luck!

Had both, would choose the bee every time!!

I love my Bee,and now we have another so use a buggy board on it too.
At age 1 if the harness is too tight you can use the harness just round the waist which obviously is not recommended but by then they are sitting forward in the pushchair so the straps wouldn't be tight anyway.

Lovely but no good for anywhere other than smooth pavements. We got something that could live a more rugged life!

The bee!!

Definitely the Bee. A friend had the Pliko and ended up ditching it for a Maclaren very quickly. The Bee seems to grow with your baby and take them right into toddlerhood. It's so lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, gets through small gaps. I find the basket underneath to be very spacious and I love the colourful hoods/footmuffs combos.

No regrets, am always telling friend to buy one.
