38+5 now and having regular painful contractions - not excruciating but not BH either, about every 5-7 minutes.

I started losing my mucus plug this week, yesterday it was pink tinged then nothing more until tonight, about an hour ago, when a big bit of blood fell out. Since then I have been bleeding pretty much like a period and have soaked two pads. It doesn't seem to have much discharge to it. Feeling like I am having a period actually.

Should this be something I should phone the midwife about?

He came on Thursday evening, and everything is fine, he's just amazing! He's a big baby, feeding well and I couldn't be any happier if I tried! x

I did with my eldest, when I was in hospital and it was a lot, and she couldn't care a toss. Just said did I want a paracetamol. I was only 20 at the time, now I think I would take it and shove it where she wouldn't want it lol.
