Hi,

I'm 10wkes preg and totally paranoid - still waiting on my 12wke scan date and praying that all will be ok this time.
no bleeding this time, but feeling less tired and not feeling sick in the mornings...
.. anyone else in the same boat and fancy holding hands?

Thanks Tel1 - and my scan is 2nd Feb too! So we can be terrified together xx

Tel i so know how you are feeling, i had already run the scenario around in my head of what would happen if i had mmc, i was a nervous wreck in that waiting room yesterday. Hold positive thoughts tho you have come this far I would really really recommend KMI they were v.good, v.quick and efficient in and out really put my mind at rest for a couple of weeks anyway!! Give them a ring x

great!! Have you told dh?! X

tel1 · 18/01/2011 16:56

yes, don't know whether he can make the time off work so soon, bu I couldn't hang around for him - hope he can as my 4 year old is home that day, so need someone to look after him... feeling a lot calmer... and suddenly fancy some garlic pasta and garlic bread, after fancying nothing all day... did eat olives last night as well which I normally hate..
so I guess that is some symptoms isn't it? I do know that I had it pretty easy my last 2 pregs, so I shouldn't be so paranoid about feeling more normal now...
I always enjoyed being preg before the mmc... hope this is ok, then I never have to go through it again !

Really glad you managed to book yourself an earlier scan - best of luck for Thursday!

knackered76 · 18/01/2011 17:03

Hi Tel1,

I had a mmc after 2 healthy pregnancies which was a shock to say the least! This time (I am now 20 weeks) I had 2 private scans before my 13 week one as I was soooooo anxious and paranoid. DH was very calm about it and just let me do it as he realised it was what I needed to do! Fingers crossed for you on Thursday and hope all goes well. Just to say though I was a bit of a wreck when I went for my first one and practically burst into tears the moment I got into the chair for the scan Blush! Let us know how you get on and keeping all things crossed.

Best of luck Tel.

I'm 11 wks pg today, and miscarried back in September at 7 wks.

I too will be mightily relieved when (fingers crossed) the sonographer tells me that everything is fine, on Monday week at 9.20 am.........

I feel very pg this time though, I have quite a bump already and my boobs have gone up a cup size.

Wishing you all lots and lots of luck - the wait is a killer isn't it!

tel1 · 20/01/2011 09:30

tel1 · 20/01/2011 13:59

yeah !! good news... thank goodness - felt terrible, cried before I hit the couch... but the little fella was the waving at me... and no wounder my symptoms have subsided, she says I'm 12wks 6 days today not 11wks, so moved my due date from 9th aug to 31st july... now need to move my other scan as I'll be way over 14 wks on the 2nd...

thinking of you now captain barnacle and thanks nicola for the heads up on the scan place !

thanks for your support !

Bloomin brilliant news Tel1!!! What a relief. How lovely. I hope you got some pics!!

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2011 14:28

bloody brilliant tel! so so happy for you. Such a relief, did dh make the scan too!! he will be so happy you've been as its like a weights been lifted.

keep your appointment on the 2nd i wouldn't think you'll get one sooner anyway. My 12week scan i had on monday and i was 14+2. Just means that your 20week scan won't seem such a wait. Come on over to July board now Grin

Just been looking at new pembury hospital btw. Looks absolutely amazing. All private en suite rooms.

reallygrumpy · 20/01/2011 14:41

Wonderful news!

I'm having a v stressful wait until my 12 wk scan on Mon. I had a mmc last July and have had bleeding on and off throughout this pg. I've had 4 scans so far at the EPU - all were fine - but I've been bleeding again and it's been heavier so I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be ok on Monday and wondering how I'm going to stay sane until then!
