I don't want to be a moaning cow but I'm 20weeks pregnant with my 3rd DC and he just doesn't stop kicking all day and night and its always low down so sittin is so uncumfy and if I get cumfy in bed then he just decides he's not cumfy so kicks till I move. Ok moan over just don't remember this with my other 2.

look on the bright side... if he changes his pattern you'll notice quickly!

I get that it must be driving you mad but I know I'm grateful to feel my LO move around when she does and often miss it when it stops even though it can be uncomfortable. I just get great peace of mind when she kicks me, which is what she is doing now.

Oh I no how lucky I am and don't take being pregnant for granted I'm just finding it hard and wanted a moan.

Hey Scouseem, my first would do one kick, once a day at about 8pm. However, like you, my second kicked from the time I could feel it day & night for 20 weeks,...he came out doing Riverdance and ever since, he has lived his life a Battling Top on speed. So,er,...make a bit of space for him for when he gets here honey!!!

Haha littlepushka that made me laugh. I know they say every baby is different but this one seems really hyper already, least he'll fit in with my other 2. Right off to clear a big dance floor space for him and to book a place on Britains got talent. X

At my 12 weeks scan we were given an chance to see our little one. Inside the womb the baby was kicking the one side with the feet and bouncing off on the other side with its head. I looked at the screen and the sonographer and my husband could see the fear on my face (my hubby later told me). The sonographer said that she've seen very active babies but this is the first, good luck with that one... she said :)
At 17+ weeks I felt my first kicks. Baby normally did not kick when I slept but did kick hard through out the day at all times.
I am 38 weeks now, she kicks less now as there is no space but still active. I can't wait to meet my little girl! Everyone I spoke about the movement told me that it is totally normal to have a overly active baby, I am sure you are fine :)

Another one here with a boy who kicked hell out of me before birth. I could feel him from 15 weeks and got steadily more vigorous. Was standing joke with the midwife as he seemed to object to her examinations with a rampage, nor would he let me wear the support belt I needed for SPD in any kind of comfort.
Like LittlePushka's lo, he has been a whirlwind for the last 8 years and show's no sign of slowing down!

LittlePushka · 16/01/2011 00:49

Also forgot to say that towards the end, I could see his limbs sweeping my balloon like belly - it was SO freaky! Id push back gently and another lib would pop up on another part of my abdomen...sam jones says it lasts YEARS! You have been warned!! Grin

LittlePushka · 16/01/2011 00:51

Oh, and don't let him EVER EVERnwatch wipeout because he will just copy the contestants using all your furniture and end up swimming on the carpet.

Blackletterday · 16/01/2011 01:50

I remember that sweeping thing, was a bit like wac-a-mole, push one bit in and another would pop up Grin. My Mum even used to tell me to stop farting on with my belly because I would hurt the baby Hmm. Couldn't help it though, if something in your belly pushes outwards you can't not feel it/push back.

I miss baby movements, gives you something to do when theres nothing on telly.
