Sorry to arrive at only my second post with a rant...but otherwise I have to wait until 7pm when DH gets home...and I might have exploded by then Smile
At work today a customer came in and overheard a conversation between myself and a colleague re; me being pregnant, she said congratulations (lovely) asked when I was due and I told her end of June ... she looked amazed and said
"well, I wouldn't have guessed, you don't look at all pregnant..."
Totally well meaning and she is a lovely lady but having suffered a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks last year I am now a wreck - I nearly persuaded myself to buy an fetal heart monitor on my way home...£££!!!
When I look at myself in the mirror I can see a small bump and my lower stomach(?) feels hard when I press it - but I don't feel that I have popped like a lot of ladies have described ... I think I am just hear to ask if anyone else is on their first and not really looking pregnant...and then I shall stop panicing and wait patiently until my MW appt next tuesday...

I had a flat, toned tummy both pregnancies at 16 weeks - don't worry it doesn't last!! Good luck with everything x

Im 16 weeks also and have been worrying about the same thing! Absolutely no bump, no hardening, nothing. My clothes fit the same, i havent put a single pound on and my boobs havent grown either Sad I have a doppler and listen to the heartbeat regularly to make sure im actually preggers Grin

It is my first but i asked a midwife that i work with about it and she said i should consider myself lucky at the moment as when im huge, hot and uncomfortable in May and June i'll be moaning!!

xx

I remember being disappointed with my first that i wasn't showing at nearly 30 weeks.

With my 3rd i looked full term form about 4 monthsHmm

I still do (sob) , and dd2 is 3 months old!

moral of story- be careful what you wish for!!

I have been "neat" with all of mine.Didnt tell family til I was 18 weeks and with friends it was 28 weeks(they were amazed!). I have also had msc so you have my sympathy. Because of this with my 3rd dc we didnt tell our other dcs til I was 37 weeks(going in for section the following week) and even then they didnt believe me! Pregnancy is the only time I actually dont look like a chubsterWink as am a 14/16 so not exactly petite!.

I didn't show until about 26 weeks, and that was only to people who knew me and about the pregnancy. If I was wearing something baggy, people didn't notice even when I was full term! In fact, I remember being 12 days over, getting increasingly hotter and more uncomfortable stood in a queue in a very small cramped post office and getting to the front of the queue and the woman behind the counter asking if I was ok. I said yes and took my coat off, at which point she caught sight of my bump and said 'oh, are you pregnant? Shock Hmm Also remember being about 25 weeks and some busybody woman at work practically accusing me of lying about the pregnancy Confused DS was 8lb 8oz, so not exactly a tiddler, I was so pleased to be able to go and show him off afterwards and tell her exactly how much he'd weighed :o
