Pregnant and clumsy...

I'd read that us preggers ladies can expect to be a bit clumsy, but it's getting ridiculous!

In the past week I have:

Knocked a bottle of red nail varnish all over the carpet

Broken one of my beloved 1950s collectables while dusting

Broken our standalone mirror by knocking it off the window ledge into the bath

I am a liability. I'm starting to feel like I shouldn't touch anything fragile! Sad

I feel your pain!
I have wiped out 5 mugs in the last month washing up, spilled a mug of tea all over myself this afternoon, poured water all over my carpet whilst trying to water a plant and keep stubbing my toe on the same corner cupboard! My poor H will be black and blue by the time Junior arrives as I'm flailing about in my sleep and keep whacking him in the head!

Bah... I have no sympathy, my dad always commented on my accident prone nature. The hours me and my dad spent in hospital when I was little because I'd had an accident again. Look on the bright side, you only have to put up with it for a few months - I've been like this for years! Grin

Aside from the joking though... I know I have been slightly more clumsy too but mainly it is the lack of balance that is throwing me most, really hard to get used to carrying a large lump on your stomach. I think not touching anything fragile is a great idea! At least for now - use it as an excuse not to dust or any other job that requires you to go near breakables - maybe you might even get out of cleaning duties full stop! Become a looked after woman... :)

Thanks ladies. I've always been a wee bit clumsy if I'm rushing & get careless, but this is something else. Feels like my fingers just aren't working with my brain, even if I'm (trying) to concentrate!

Using it as an excuse to avoid fiddly dusting is a great idea though, there's my excuse...
