No morning sickness?

Hello :)

Don't hate me... I'm around 8 weeks pregnant and have had no morning sickness - how bizarre is this? Has anyone else had no morning sickness?

This is my third pregnancy (previous ones where 19 and 16 years ago) and I had bad morning sickness with my first and not so bad with my second pregnancies.

Should I be worried or pleased?

Me neither. Am also 8 weeks. I was as sick as a dog with dd and I have to admit that this is unnerving me. At least if you're sick you know what's happening. I'm sure it's fine though.

Don't worry, some mums to be are just lucky. I didn't have a spot of sickness with DS (now nearly 2). In fact, I felt better, more energised and much healthier when I was first pregnant with him.

I was told the old wives tale that it was because I had a boy that I didn't get morning sickness!! Don't worry about it.

I've had two healthy girls and had no morning sickness with either. I was starving for the first 12 weeks though which didn't help with the post pregnancy flab!

I had none whatsoever with dd, and all was fine.

I've been worrying about this too. With ds I had terrible morning (all day!) sickness but nothing so far this time and I'm almost 6 weeks.
Spoke with doc earlier though and he said don't worry about it, that all pregnancies are different. I still can't help worrying its not going to end well though, but will try and stay positive - as doc says we should just be thankful this time round!

I am 37 weeks now - and have never had any morning sickness (I realize how lucky I am...) so don't worry at all. Just be grateful! Pregnancy is the weirdest thing as people have such different responses to what ought to be the same biological processes, and as people have said, even completely different experiences of different pregnancies. But there's a huge range of 'normal' (or nothing 'normal', from another perspective...).
