Anyone else fed up and want pregnancy over with?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and getting majorly fed up with the whole thing. The constant nausea, heartburn, backache, stretch marks, being too fat to bend over very far, having to get other people to take my shoes off etc etc.

And I am sooooo effing bored staying in the house most of the time because I feel too ill/tired to go out. I feel like I have turned into the most boring, moany, lazy cow on the planet and I can't wait to feel "normal" again, whatever the hell that is (can't remember anymore).

Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Spiritual and magical my ARSE Giraffes! Good luck with your nipple cream shopping today, pregnancy is glamourous to the last isn't it?

I'm off to do hospital bag shopping next week and think I'll pick up some raspberry leaf tea and pineapple at the same time methinks.

Glamour doesn't begin to cover it, I have cream for thrush, cream for piles and wearing wonderful panty liners... Blush OH doesn't even bother coming near anymore!

My DM told me I should be taking my incontinence duvets pads with me in the car now as well in case my waters break. God, I feel great.

Hi Ladies -37 weeks and was just about to come on here and have a rant at how rubbish i feel/heavy/unable to do the simplest thing - then my mobile rang and it was one of my best friends who is 10 weeks behind me to say she had a little boy at 7am 2lb 3oz! .. it suddenly made me feel very grateful to have my huge baby (apparently 7lbs at 34 weeks) another scan in a week to see how much bigger he/she is!! ... i know pregnancy is tough and dont get me wrong i moan all day, but listening to my friend sob on the phone made me stop.. well for today anyway!!:) xx

Mahraih · 28/12/2010 14:48

YES, so sick of it. Only got really sick of it at about 34 weeks, but since then (now 35+4), I am so, so tired of it all.

Have gone sales shopping and bought loads of stuff in size 8, and now paranoid I will NEVER fit my currently huge bottom into them, ever again. Almost cried.

It isn't spiritual, it isn't magical, it's like being a heffalump.

Phew, that helped.

RockLovesMincePies · 28/12/2010 15:25

So sorry to hear about your friend Julie, hope everything goes ok with the baby.

Crikey Mahraih I've never been anywhere near a size 8 even before pregnancy lol. I KNOW I have put on a tonne of weight by eating junk because of the nausea, think I'm just going to cross that bridge when I get to it.

Doesn't help that I am still feeling really ill today and have not started my 4 hr drive up to my parents. I just feel too awful to contemplate it at the mo, think it may have to be a night drive now.

RockLovesMincePies - you're right, it is a lot better to just cross that bridge when it happens, and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy as much as possible.

Just read through the rest of the thread properly too, and seen women who actually have a proper reason to be sick of pregnancy!

hello fellow moaners.Yep 35 wks and absolutely f**ked off too.Its my 5th and ive never felt as physically battered as i do now.
spd but not too bad as i cant walk far due to breathlessness which nobody seems concerned about.

Cant get comfy anywhere at all.

DD and then me had colds for last 3wks so been in house for months.

Need a drink and possibly a sneaky marlborough light.

Would like proper sex not me led on my side like a cadaver with dh behind me probably wishing he wasnt.

Rib pain.

unable to dress myself properly or bend over to pick things up.

I seriously will need a bit of time to myself afterwards as i kind of need to reclaim my body/life.So glad its not just me.

Good luck everyone.

RockLovesMincePies · 28/12/2010 15:53

Bloody hell Led, I'll congratulate you on having any type of sex, I can't even contemplate it as I feel so crap. My poor DP must be desperate by now lol.

I am suffering from rather horrible back pain today and I also seem to have developed period pains too (deffo not contractions though), have no idea how I will get comfy in the drivers seat for 4 hrs.

cant imagine driving too far, poor you.I can still drive but the position makes me more breathless,im not giving it up tho its all ive got now, cant even walk to end of my rd now.
i been getting p pain too but also terrible bh which i actually have to breathe thru.
tried for vbac with dd8 but wasnt contracting enough, have csec booked for 31st jan tbh i havent got the energy to give birth haha

RockLovesMincePies · 28/12/2010 16:17

I'm going for a vbac as I had to have an emcs with dd and would like (hopefully) to have a quicker recovery this time. Especially as I need to drive dd to school as it is in a village and dp doesn't drive!

However, I know what you mean about not having the energy for birth, I feel so shite I just can't be bothered to go through all the pain and discomfort. Despite the fact I want this pregnancy over with I am totally dreading the birth this time round.

I'm going to hop on the moaning bus. I'm 31+4 and done with being pregnant! I'm totally crap at it and seem to have every possible problem hitting me. Last week it was the pregnancy tumours, this week it's piles, I'd be here all night if I listed it all.

All I wanted for Christmas was to feel comfortable for 5 minutes, I didn't even get 1 :(

Of course I don't want baby to put in an appearance until strong enough, but so wish it were easier!

/breaths

I feel a bit better now.

RockLovesMincePies · 28/12/2010 16:31

Whinging is so good for the soul Tarlia! I don't intend to stop until baby is born lol.

i feel better for a good winge actually.
I had 2 sections when tried for vbac so i wqas lucky they let me even try.this time i have no choice and dont really mind,i drove quickly last time and dh has 4 wks off so i can do the dying fly as long as i like.
My probs are mainly from the sheer size of my belly,i measured 38cm at 33 so i got no chance really have i?turning over in bed is like having a grown man sat on my belly.

juliec26 · 28/12/2010 17:00

Feeling really low this evening .. Dp gone out with all his mates.(I'm jealous As long to have energy to blow dry my hair let alone go out) he has left me with very poorly dd 4 who temperature just won't go down.. My lovely neighbour wHo is gp came in and said if it's not gone down in 30 mins she needs to go to emdc., I don't drive.. And then no doubt I will end up with hiddeous bug right in time for labour!!! Grrrrllll

ledkrsbellyislikesantas · 28/12/2010 17:23

oh poor you,men are such wankers, mine hasnt been out since i was pg,i havent told him not to but think he feels guilty. Is it too late for him to get back? How far is emg dr?get that temp down, sponge her down with tepid water etc.good luck.

juliec26 · 28/12/2010 18:33
