Bit confused - not even sure it's my blood, otherwise I'd be off to be checked.

Getting out of the shower this morning, I noticed that there was a bright red spot of blood on the tiled floor, starting to dry. I hadn't noticed it before getting in. But I can't find any other evidence of blood in/around my fanjo, and can't quite believe it would have come from me and yet left no traces.

Other possibility is that it's from the cat, which ambled in while I was in the shower, and has been fighting lately. But there's similarly no evidence of any injury to the cat.

Can't think of anything it could be other than blood.

But can it possibly have come from me, as just a single spot in isolation? I've no other symptoms, feeling fine, have had the odd kick since. It was about 45 minutes ago I guess, and no sign of any more. Obviously I'm a bit worried, but I don't want to waste hospital's time given that I'm not even sure it's my blood. WWYD?

Put a pantiliner on or pad and wait an hour have a look if there is any blood, if it is red could be a problem if it is brown could be the show?
Best to call midwife and get checked out if you have any concerns
If it is red blood it could be a damaged placenta although this would continue to bleed I think (not a medical expert here) it could also be nothing or as you say not even yours.
As you are still technically preterm drs will be careful of any blood but good sign baby is still moving around.
