I thought some of you ladies might be interested to hear that the TV show 'One Born Every Minute' is on over Christmas.

I have rewatched all of this series since becoming pregnant, and little one is due on Christmas Day, so I'll be glued to this.

I haven't told the other half yet that that is what we'll be doing for most of Christmas - watching others give birth on telly, then hopefully doing it ourselves! Xmas Smile

Ewwww ha ha I am nearly 10 weeks and in denial about the whole birth bit....I'll worry about it later!! Have watched a few videos on you tube but all seemed a little too easy!!!

I think am thinking of baby Jack who had parts of his inside on the outside poor mite.

Anyone else under foot of snow yet? Shock

I've watched 7 episodes since yesterday already, fascinating stuff. I have cried a lot tho.

Think i'll sky plus it as we are at my parents for xmas. Dont think it will be a good background for tucking into the turkey!

Looking forward to it though, Loved the last series. (fgrin)

I love this programme! Will have to tape it especially as DS was born on Christmas Day last year :)

I am nearly 17 weeks and when I saw the ad twice last night, I freaked out a bit both times and burst into tears.

This is my first and I am bloody terrified of giving birth. Every person I know who has had kids has told me it was horrifically painful for them. I know I have to go through it, and maybe I'll get lucky and it will be mercifully quick, but I'm going to be a bit la la la fingers in my ears til then!

So no thanks, I don't particularly want to watch a load of women howling and screaming with pain, even if their stories are interesting and the end result is lovely!
