possibly. As you know, everything softens during pregnancy, including gums, which is why they used to say you lose a tooth for every baby lol. Rubbish, but you can have more problems. My dentist cleaned mine last time I went and it was agony for being sensitive. He didn't stop though even though I kept jumping.

Hi, it may be that you've got some extra plaque going on which is totally normal in pregnancy. I went to the dentist today to get it all cleaned up. You should definitely try Sensodyne, I found it sorted out my sensitvity within a couple of brushes!

haha what a mean dentist! hate the dentist anyway but id probly have punched him!

ill def give sensodyne a try, its not xmas without icecream for pudding!!

I felt like it cos it was bleeding all day, looked like I was a vampire lol. There is a good colgate one out as well....sensitive pro relief. They gave me a sample of that when I was having problems with a tooth before I was pregnant, and it really does work when none of the others have for me :)

I've had really sensitive teeth on and off throughout my pregnancy, and never before that. The first time it happened, I literally couldn't eat or drink anything that wasn't 'mouth temperature', which meant tepid tea and lukewarm fruit juice!

It does come and go though, really suddenly, I can just wake up and it's gone, and doesn't come back for a week or two, and then suddenly there it is again.

I had this first pregnancy and my dentist said it was common.

He put a fluoride coating on them which really helped and it stopped after I'd given birth.
