i am currently 11 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. My jeans are starting to dig in the late afternoon/evenings. i decided to buy some basic maternity clothes - both work and casual wear - so trousers, skirts, tops, cardigans, jeans, vests, tights, leggings - you get the picture.
i tried to buy stuff on sale on the website when i can. got a few stuff from dorothy perkins and jojo maman bebe. Total =£540.

it has been 5 years since i was last buying maternity clothes - can someone point me somewhere cheaper for next time!

PS i have also been so ill with hyperemesis (hospitalised twice so far) so today i felt like treating myself a bit

The NEXT sale is a good place to look, was just doing general shopping last year and kept finding many pairs of maternity jeans!! So if you can hang on a couple more weeks you should be quids in. :)

I think some depends on how you grow! This time I have survived with

a short tube skirt (£4! from asos sale)
wide leg trousers x 2 (grey from asos sale black from Next - survived 3 pregnancies and in fact never left my wardrobe!!)
one pair of maternity tights (others have been fine anyway)
two/three long vest tops
couple of new maternity tops/dresses from asos sale.
and lots of my normal clothes (longer dresses/tops etc)
have just now bought normal leggings in a bigger size from Peacocks - they are great!
my coat was a bit big anyway

Asos is FAB though - go and have a browse - their sale stuff is bargainous

I am just me + football bump though. My first pregnancy I was bigger and bought just a larger size of clothes (which I then wore c6mths after too)... would look weird on me this time I think.

OP - hope you feel better soon and that the retail therapy helps!

I second H&M and New Look for cheap stuff, and keeping an eye out for 'normal' stuff that's the right shape to be flattering (e.g. gathered under the bust rather than at the waist). Like others have said, I'm hoping that some of the 'normal' stuff will still work after the baby's born, until I can (hopefully...!!) get into some of my lovely old clothes again. My current favourite bit of clothing is a long H&M knitted dress in blue (it's not a maternity one)- fitted and very stretchy, sooo comfortable with no waistband to dig in and so nice and warm.
