This is a kind of moan but also just a need to hear from others feeling the same!

I'm 32+1 with DC2 and so excited/impatient/scared about the impending birth- only 8 wks to go, or 7 according to due date (I get so confused with measuring it in weeks vs months)

I can't wait to eat pate, wine, runny eggs, more wine, can't wait to meet baby -boy or girl- another exciting surprise. I am getting really uncomfortable when sleeping/walking/doing anything- have back ache, bump ache, vulval varicose veins (tmi?) always tired, bump sticks out so far it feels like it needs it's very own support with wheels underneath it! Worried about DS's reaction to new baby (he's 20mths) and my mum's potential lack of help when I really need it in the first few weeks, but also really really excited!!! How do people cope with a toddler and a baby?!?!

anyone else like to share? Smile

oh your posts have cheered me up no end, knowing I'm not the only one feeling like this!! Like Greenmantle my toddler is getting cabin fever in this cold weather which doesn't help on my days off, and nights are getting so uncomfortable- I look forward to the day I don't have to wake up, hold my belly and then haul it over to the other side just to turn over. Then the baby wakes up and starts kicking so I lie awake for another 20 mins wondering how the little kicks can hurt so much!

also sick of a constant bloody (literally) stuffy nose, anyone else got that? not pleasant blowing your nose and getting a red tissue...

Miffster runny eggs aren't reccomdended due to a risk of salmonella. And as for the wine, I have enjoyed the odd glass but for some reason the 'guilt' dampens my enjoyment somewhat- most probably something to do with the government ranting on about how abstinence is best... blah blah- most probably men who make up this advice!

btw mamacorner do you use one of those supports for VV? I have it but haven't bought anything for it- hurts like buggery sometimes.

Hi SaraL, yes I tried the compression tights first but found I still had horrendous achey dragging discomfort after being on my feet for more than a couple of hours. Was really getting me down so after other MNers mentioning it, brought a Prenatal Cradle V2 Supporter. Not glamorous, I'm afraid, DH finds it all hilarious and they are quite pricey but it makes loads of difference.

I would say size up as they are quite tight, I know they need to be but I'm normally a size 8-10 and went for a medium which fits just right. I wouldn't say it's particularly comfortable but it's definitely better than the VV pain. They do make your bum look like a sack of potatoes but under mat jeans and longer length tops, it's not noticable!!! Am I selling it to you!!!Wink

33 weeks but dreading it - am a sahm and will have 3 under 3yrs all day every day. i loved my last 2 pregnancies but this one has been really hard.

varicose veins, sciatica, blocked sinuses, chesty cough, puncture on the double buggy wheel, no car to do food shop, hubby commuting over an hour to work, clingy toddler who screams and cries when i get in the shower, winter coat getting too tight to do up. but both boys have a nice long sleep after lunch every day so i feel like i've earned 2 hrs of chilling out/sleeping.

Yes Sara! Every day people ask me if I have a cold as I'm alway sniffing/sounding bunged-up - I seem to have a stuffed up, crusty, bogey filled (sorry Blush) nose all the time! But I feel fine, definitely no cold as such. Thought it was just me... Smile

hi mamacorner- yeah I have actually considered the Prenatal Cradle V2 supporter- particularly after erm, some fun with DH, the pain was horrendous and lasted for hours-I had even had to sit down to prepare dinner! Now I'm scared it'll happen again so sex is now off the menu for the remainder of the pregnancy! I'm wondering whether to just put up with 7 more weeks of discomfort or bite the bullet and buy the (oh so glamorous) support!

Glitteryballs- yep I find myself 'excavating' my nose several times a day so I can breathe well- pregnancy is so sexy- lol!
